Wonderful small school and an ideal example of what School should be; kids are encouraged to be kids, very low technology approach using actual books, hands on activities, art, drama, music, cursive writing. Very strong peer interaction and unity amongst all grades to build a strong sense of community and support. Teachers stay in close contact with parents to discuss individual needs and challenges. Lots of fun activities through out the year to cultivate creativity and offer unique experiences such as Pi Day, World Food event, Hobbit/Fairy house tour, Snow Fun day at St. Gaudens, improv nights and more. Relocating to West Claremont three years ago to their new location has offered the kids a safe and lovely outdoor area to play outside. VERY strong commitment to teaching character throughout all subjects and daily interactions. Highly recommend a visit interview. Tuition payable monthly and much lower than many private schools, especially with help from NH Children's Scholarship Foundation.
