Read what parents are saying about Grace Christian SchoolAdministration is more concerned with fundraising and enrollment numbers than “partnership” with parents and modeling Christ to the school community and surrounding community. Administration labels “secular” and “public school” children and families as lesser humans. Truly sickening. Staff consists of many “educators” who have no actual training or certification. Parents who question unBiblical practices are labeled and shunned. Just because this place is cheaper does NOT mean that you should waste your children’s education on this school that places the word Christian in its name. I wish there was a way for me to sit down with you and share our nightmare experiences. Board, Administrators and “teachers” are not trustworthy and focused on donations and enrollment numbers. Please use discretion and ask to speak with parents who question the administration and largely misguided policies. Please don’t allow yourself to be fooled by a purpose statement that may “check the boxes.”
Posted by a community member on 6/12/2023As the parent of two graduates [pre-school through high school attendance], I can fully endorse GCS as an excellent choice for the education of your children. GCS offers a unique opportunity in our area: smaller class sizes, solid academics, outstanding staff, a sense of community, and very importantly, a Christ-centered worldview. I knew early-on in our experience that teaching was more than a job for GCS staff. I could see how the teachers loved our children, prayed for them daily, and served as excellent role models. Through the years, GCS served as our extended family. The biblical truths that our family believes were reinforced at GCS. There is a focus on building character, integrity, work ethic, and community service. In high school, my children participated in the Early Scholars Program, which gave them the opportunity to preview college academics and simultaneously earn college credit. Today, they are both enrolled in college and are well-prepared to meet their academic challenges. There were also extracurricular activities that my children enjoyed. My daughter enjoyed playing basketball, Bowling Club, and ski days with her school at Mt. Snow. My son loved drama club, gaming club, and any opportunity to perform in plays & talent shows. While no school is perfect, I can honestly say GCS was well worth the investment for our family. I am grateful that GCS helped shape my children and that they still have long-lasting friendships with GCS staff and their classmates that have continued beyond high school.
Posted by a parent on 5/8/2021I went to Grace for thirteen years, starting in kindergarten up until graduation, and I loved every second of it. People thought I was weird when they asked me if I was excited to graduate, and I would say, "no, I'm sad!" I have made such special relationships with my teachers, I have made friends that I will cherish forever, all while receiving a quality education and growing closer to Christ. I was given many opportunities to be a leader to the school body, but also be involved in the community. If I ever needed help with anything, teachers were always willing to make sure I understood the subject. The school's motto is "come see the Grace difference," and if you compare Grace to any of the other schools in the area, I believe that you truly will see a difference with the students that the school produces. Every single aspect of this school is a home run in my book, and I hope people are able to see how easy it is to stay at this school for 13 years under these circumstances!
Posted by a student on 6/28/2018This has been one of the worst wastes of time that I have ever experienced, I have not learned anything over the 2017-2018 school year and honestly I hope people understand how hard it is to stay at this school for 11 years under these circumstances.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school was terrible my son was there for kindergarten and was getting beaten up on the playground where no teacher seemed to be able to see what was going on. He told me they were all sitting around talking during recess. he was scared to go to school and would come home crying and not even know why he was crying. He was stressed out and I had talks and emails with his teacher and the principal and nothing was really being solved so we took him out of this school.Parent Review9y ago - Monument School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I was there one of the teachers made me cry and didn’t say sorry or I didn’t mean to make you cry They only “apologized” after I told someone they made 3 other kids cry that year. One of the teachers yelled at me when I didn’t hold the door for someone the person wasn’t disabled it was I wasn’t being a gentlemen I was in the 3rd grade. One of the kids didn’t do any work and was fine one kid slept the most classes and was ok. My friend was bullied for crying, the teacher didn’t do much. They banned a game for having a “bad” name. This was the 4th grade we would get in trouble for playing. My 2nd grade teacher threw a chair and broke a plastic bin they scared me and my friends at the table. There are good things like natures classroom and some field trips and going outside and the museum right by the school but that gets boring and repetitive. Some teachers are nice and that does help. There are fun trips that we went on . That’s allOther Review1y ago - The School Of Sacred Heart St Francis De Sales
