The principal's behavior can sometimes come across as passive-aggressive. Those who have interacted with her might sense that something is off. There are questions about whether she is the right fit for the role. Students are frequently sent to her office for minor reasons, suggesting a focus on controlling the narrative rather than addressing genuine issues.Additionally, the school appears to be heavily focused on influencing students' thinking. The selection process for the Advanced Academic Program (AAP) seems inconsistent, with many students admitted without meeting the necessary qualifications, leading to imbalanced class sizes—with 25 students in AAP classes compared to 18 in regular classes.She has the potential to be a good principal if she focuses on the students' benefit rather than her own agenda. Please consult with experienced teachers. There are teachers whom students love, respect, and eagerly look forward to attending their classes. It is quite evident who they are, and their advice should be valued.A growing number of teachers, including the principal, seem to struggle with earning the respect of the students. They may be kids, but they can sense who genuinely cares for them. They are more perceptive than we often give them credit for. I strongly recommend that parents talk to their child every day after school and to reach out to other parents to exchange information. Your guidance is crucial for your children's well-being.The fact that more than 10 teachers have left in the past two years is quite telling and indicates underlying issues that need to be addressed. On a positive note, the school is in a safe location, and the PTA is doing a great job.

Great school that is very inviting to families. My child grew a tremendous amount under some great teachers who really supported his learning and maturation. He had a great relationship with admin and they made a point to know him too. An overall great experience.

I was very impressed with the academics at the school. The teacher engagement was good. Our son needed help and the level of support we received was amazing. The school has programs to help kids achieve academic success and emotionally and mentally support. We are sad to move away and would recommend Westbriar!

Great school for Special Education kids. Teachers review IEP every year and follow it accordingly. Special Ed kids sit in least restrictive environment and get maximum support they need. 10/10 recommend this school.

Our child recently started kindergarten at OLGC, and it has been an incredible experience! We are beyond thrilled with the academics. It’s only October; when she began, she could only spell her first name in uppercase. Now, just six weeks later, she has mastered both uppercase and lowercase letters and is starting to blend sounds together. This is just one of the many examples of her progress.We also love how OLGC emphasizes caring for God’s creation. She has started picking up trash during our walks because she understands it’s her responsibility to care for the environment. The school’s Catholic values really shine through, with a focus on shaping children to be not just great students but also kind, loving, and thoughtful individuals. This year’s motto, “Be love,” is a beautiful reminder of the importance of being compassionate in everything we do.OLGC doesn’t just prepare children to be academically on par with — and, in many ways, ahead of — the excellent local public schools. They’re also nurturing children to be good people, caring friends, and responsible citizens of the world. The Principal, Mrs. Williams, and the Vice Principal are fantastic leaders who clearly put their heart and soul into the school, and they are always open to feedback.You won’t find a better school for the price and the quality of education in the area. We are so grateful to be part of this community!
