3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGetting a phone call saying your daughter's absence from school is unexcused after informing the teacher she's sick doesn't sit well with me. It's negligence on the school's part in one manner or another. It's offensive getting a call from school that makes you feel like they're saying "hey you're basically a bad parent". If it's a policy it needs changed. The bus has been more than an hour late on multiple occasions (almost biweekly). Teachers are top notch and dedicated to building lasting relationships with their students. As a diverse, Title I school, the staff and community are always planning fun events to promote reading and fun. The PTA is wonderfully involved as well.
