My son has been in the county schools since pre-k and Kentuck since half way through kindergarten, Kentuck is the best. He loves going to school, he loves his teachers each year. Mr. Shields seems to be doing a great job with the school and is always attentive when I have any concerns or questions.

they try to prepare the children for the next year plan school activeaties school trips but dont give them enuf play time but are nice careing people

Great school with great teachers who care about the kids. The county needs to do something about providing better facilities for the kids rather than ricketty old mobile units for music and special education classes. I have had two sons attend Danriver middle school, it is a great school with wonderful teachers and staff. It seems they all genuinely care about the students. They need more teacher as the ones they do have are stretched too thin. They teachers I have had opportunity to meet are doing the best they can. Parents can be more involved which would help the teachers. As with any school there is only so much teachers and administrators can do without fear of being labeled as wrong, teachers aren't there to teach kids to be better behaved if parents won't do their jobs and teach respect and manors at home.
