2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWonderful because my children were 3 years in a row in this school and because of the change of direction I had to remove them, it made me very sad because it is an excellent school, the teachers, the staff, the director, they are all very kind people, they helped me a lot. I am very grateful Because of my youngest son's teacher, he arrived not talking much, he had speech problems, he was very shy and they helped him a lot. Thank you. They are wonderful. Keep working as usual.Parent Review5y ago7 Reviews - Chimborazo Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter started going to Fairfield this year. She started 5th grade there coming from a different school. The first five months of the school year she had to worry about bullying. Four different times I had to go up to the school. My family is a minority here at Fairfield Court. The principal told me I quote " The kids here don't understand. They hear their parents say it. Its the area that we live in." I don't care if its the area that we live in, my daughter was always told not to see color. Our skin may be white and they may be black but we all bleed red. As a parent I can say that I would not want my child to go to this school, but I can say that about many Richmond Public Schools.Parent Review2y ago2 Reviews - George Mason Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWoodville elementary is a great school. I love the programs they have to offer and the staff is very hands on but, the students are terrible. Myu7 yrs old is bullied everyday in and out of school. He has no friends and try to fit in with the wrong crowd. I spoke with the staff about the situations but nothing has changed.Parent Review11y ago1 Reviews - Bellevue Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been part of the Bellevue elementary community for several years now. And, I have got to say just how wonderful of a place this school has been for our children. The engagement and love that the teachers and faculty show for the students is first rate. I was surprised to see the rating here as it stands. The information and data shown here does not align with our experience and observations at all, and to speak candidly, does a disservice to the hard work and level of professionalism that is demonstrated daily. The school provides a lot of outlets for children to explore education and works diligently to understand each child and their needs. Focusing on how to best support kids at an individual level. We have found a wonderful student body, parents that love and care for their children and their education, a neighborhood community that supports the school and is invested in its success, and the opportunity to have your children thrive. To be honest, I as a parent have grown tremendously while supporting my children’s journey. I am grateful and proud to be part of the castle on the hill! NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePoor communication from administration. Forbidden from talking to the teachers directly unless it’s during a twice a year parent teacher conference. Too much staff rotation during naps and poor record keeping. The owner of the school, Anita, said she doesn’t take action on parent feedback because she has no problem keeping students at the school. No transparency into how your vigils is doing at the school. Any concerns are brushed off as it being a “transitional time period” for your child. You are not allowed to directly talk to the teachers for SIX weeks and then only with Administration present and only during that meeting another parent teacher conference. No one at pick up or drop off at the gate know the Primary children (ages 3-5 years old). Unfortunately if your child is too young to communicate well you won’t know what is happening. Please see the multiple violations for this facility on the social services website (they conduct state inspections).Parent Review3y ago16 Reviews
