3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are using a new tool called Alexia for reading. The computer time spent is a challenge between classmates and grades to improve their own score. Since my kids view it as a "level" challenge in math and reading. I feel confident they will do great in their exams from what I have seen. They make do with what is provided, but improvements can be made by education system towards this school.I believe they have started a Math Club that is optional to all grades.Parent Review4y ago3 Reviews - Coleman Place Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school over 30 years ago, my oldest son went to this school, my youngest attends this school, my step children have attended this school and my daughter will soon attend this school. The teachers here really care about their students and communication is easy using class dojo. I can send a message and get a reply within the hour. We are kept up to date with assignments, forms needed, field trips, tests, events etc. My oldest son when he attended made honor roll, so does my current son that goes here. My son that currently goes does have an IEP and has additional support in the class room, everyone that supports him in school is friendly and very helpful and my son makes honor almost every quarter. I see the reviews about bullying but as long as you communicate with your child, their teacher etc its handled. The test scores I see aren't great for the school as a whole, hopefully it improves.Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - Ingleside Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNPS is already garbage but this school is absolutely terrible! Do not send your children here if you love them. The leadership at this place is all over the place and everyone seems very comfortable with chaos. 0 stars.Other Review5y ago3 Reviews - Lindenwood Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMany, many years ago, I taught kindergarten at Lindenwood. It was on of my very best teaching experiences! There was great parent evolvement there! Great community school! Yes, there were some behavior issues. You’ll find that anywhere. However, I had incarcerated parents, yet they absolutely adored their child! I had exhausted students because their new sibling slept in the same room. Oh, there were many more! However, we just rolled with it all, trying to meet the needs of every student on every level! The students wanted to learn! Over all students were well behaved. I’d go back in a heartbeat if I still lived there!Teacher Review2y ago7 Reviews - Sherwood Forest Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel as if there is no social or peer support for students. I get contacted every day about stuff that a teacher should be able to handle. As a teacher, you should know that all students are not going to be the same and some may need more help than others, but that is no excuse to find any reason to kick him/her out of class every single day. I think the expectations of a four-year-old are a bit much at this school. I definitely think the environment is a little better than other schools in the area, but maybe for the older kids age group not so much the pre-K students.Parent Review6mo ago11 Reviews - P.B.
