Read what parents are saying about Granby Elementary SchoolDr. Verhappen is amazing with the students and the extracurricular opportunities like music lessons, mad scientists club, etc. are fabulous! The on-site before/after care through the YMCA is a great program. My girls are excited to go to school every day.
Posted by a parent on 1/12/2020I’m the proud parent of two honor roll students at Granby Elementary. They have been well served by the music and drama program.
Posted by a parent on 2/26/2018Great Norfolk school! My daughter has far exceeded what I would expect from a new first grader (reads more complex words, adds, subtracts, and multiplies). She is far above where I was at her age and I excelled at school. The teachers are wonderful, caring, and always available for parents. The principal and vice-principal are extremely involved. They know every kid by name and not just the really good or really bad kids but EVERY kid. We could afford to send our child to Norfolk Academy or Collegiate but we choose to send her here because it is such a great school.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely worst school I've ever seen may look appealing but it's awful , somthing has to be going on there, funds are not being used properly!! The kids haven't had a picture day in 2 years as far as I know , they are last minute on letting parents know anything being done activity wise, and so much bullying and nothing being done. Also don't be a parent with a special needs child there they will laugh in your face and tell u nobody gets an iep here! I'd advice trying a different school for your child if I was you!!Parent Review11mo ago - Willard Model Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been attending since Kindergarten and is going into 2nd grade. We couldn't be happier so much so we have another Kindergartener starting this year. The principal and the vice principal are amazing. The front office staff is great. The teachers really care. And most of all the parents and the PTA are wonderful and ever present. The school is beautiful and new. The playgrounds there's four are great. So much so my kids asked to go play there on the weekend.Parent Review8mo ago - Suburban Park Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve been part of the Saint Patrick community for 5 years now, and have loved it from the beginning. Our children have blossomed with academic, spiritual, and athletic opportunities they wouldn’t have had elsewhere. The close knit community feels more like an extended family and we feel blessed knowing our kids are safe and truly cared about at school. The emphasis on developing the whole child has created an encouraging learning environment unique to Saint Patrick. Sending our 3 children to Saint Patrick has by far been one of the best parenting decisions we have made!Parent Review1y ago - Greenhill Farms Christian Academy
