This school is not for me at all. The kids there were rude and make fun of anyone and everyone for simply living at that point. The teachers never talked things out ever. One teacher even pulled in my ear. They made me feel unsafe and trapped by saying “even if you switch classes you’ll still see me

Some teachers allow students to curse and misbehave without consequences. When my child tried to report inappropriate behavior in the classroom, they were dismissed, and no action
Posted by a parent on 5/31/2025My son attends Granby and the administration is no nonsense when it comes to bullies. I contacted Ms.Green and she met with us immediately. Our son was allowed to share his concerns in a safe space. My child has not had any more issues with that bully!
Posted by a parent on 5/25/2024The staff at Granby Elementary truly cares about the education and direction that children take. As the school year comes to an end and my daughter is moving on to middle school, I can only pray that her next principal is as friendly and caring as Ms. Green is.
Posted by a parent on 5/25/2024Dr. Verhappen is amazing with the students and the extracurricular opportunities like music lessons, mad scientists club, etc. are fabulous! The on-site before/after care through the YMCA is a great program. My girls are excited to go to school every day.

You're never going to find that "perfect " school because every school has flaws . I've never had a problem with my kids going here. There is help at the school for all types of Problems you may have. You just have to speak up and ask for help. Respect goes a long way.
