George Carr Round Elementary School

Switched both of my kids from Weems and never regretted it! Great school, Great team. And most importantly, they're friendly and welcoming!.Looking forward to a great year!

My boys went to Jennie Dean Elementary. One of my boys started in Special Education class and received the required help. He was able to attend regular 1st grade and beyond, thanks to the help he received.

Haydon elementary had not shown any improvement with staff professionalism and accountability since the new principal took over in the last 3 years. Year after year regardless of issues raised about unprofessional staff and incidents among students you only receive lip service and left feeling like your concern is invalid. I say it’s lip services because staff you come in contact daily remain rude and unwelcoming despite of reporting incidents of their behavior. This school SEVERELY lacks diversity which results is a concern it’s self. School staff are evidence of the leadership they are provided and the community is left underwhelmed and let down to often.

My kids had a great experience here.

Merit School has been 5/5 on everything in the almost year we've been here. We're aging out of the infant program and the teachers and staff are nothing but engaged with us, available, and active in our kid's growth. Our child had a special therapist for a developmental issue and we got to have them come to the school and we all sat down together and taught the teachers some activities they can use with our child. Would recommend to anyone and I have many times.
