My experience here was awful the teachers and staff members are lacking to do there work for example they don’t pay attention as much to the students I heard that students were vaping in the bathroom and talking about starting Gangs and other violent activities.

I am so impressed with this school and the dedication of the staff. It is a very diverse population, and teachers have more challenges than at other schools in affluent areas. But the dedication to learning shows. I’m appalled by parents talking about “the bad kids… bussed in from other areas” aka, not as privileged. Disgusting. If you want a school full of perfect snowflakes, pay for private school. One of my children is on the spectrum and gets the best treatment here. Teachers and students alike are kind and accepting.

Love this school and would recommend to others for their kids.

This was the best school our children went to during our time in the military. To top it off only 15 minutes from Ft. Belvoir.

I am a former teacher at Saratoga. Look elsewhere! Student behavior is out of control, many students with and without disabilities are unsafe and dangerous and get away with it daily (parents have no clue), the teachers receive terrible support from administration, the teachers are under appreciated and its a toxic work environment. If you can choose another school in the area, do it. Cannot NOT recommend this place enough.

They have a new principal who couldn't care less about the kids learning. He is arrogant and refuses to take parents' calls and blames them for everything. It was never a good school, but has gone even further downhill. Principal refuses to answer questions and teachers are a mixed bag, but mostly not very good. Kid spent all year doing nothing but worksheets. They will not even tell you if there is a change in teacher. Horrific place.

We send both of our children here. The school is nice and clean - the teachers are great for the most part. The biggest issue with this school (outside of the other comments regarding ownership) is the number of days they are closed, without any tuition adjustment of course. There is no consideration for working families. There isn't a single month in the year where the school isn't closed for at least one day, with most months having multiple closures. This of course requires working parents to also take the day off from work. November and December the school is basically only open half the month. If you have a stay at home parent - the school is great, if you have two working parents please beware.
