Read what parents are saying about Dupont Elementary SchoolIf I could give this school 0 stars, i would. They are not welcoming to parent visitors. i visited my son's classroom and then like 30 minutes into visiting i was thrown out because they said the teacher needed to teach and said if i wanted to observe then write a note weeks in advance. i tld her i wasnt there to observe. i just wanted to spend time with my son at school. parents are treated like the enemy and i am displeased due to the fact that i am a taxpayer whose money helps keep this school up and going and they don't even want you there. Have something to hide maybe?
Posted by a parent on 4/23/2018Great School! I am very pleased with the curriculum and the positive involvement from the teachers, parents, and students. Dupont focuses on learning in the classroom and provides the students with extracurricular activities before and after school. Before school activities include choir or guitar; After school: Battle of the Books, running club, tutoring, etc. There are so many diverse clubs that the students can take part in. I am impressed with teachers level of experience, knowledge, talents, and what they offer to the students. Dupont strives to be the best and it shows. This is my children's first year at Dupont. Transferring from Chester was a bit terrifying. My children have excelled in every aspect of learning and do not ever want to miss a day. Dupont Elementary is a hidden secret. There is so many great things about this school. The one thing I would like to have changed are the ratings. Thank you Dupont Teachers and Staff for all you do!
Posted by a parent on 11/20/2014Recently our daughter represented her school in a district academic program. I was very pleased at the level of confidence exhibited by her Dupont Elementary peers! They worked well together in teams and seemed to have a great deal of pride in their school.
Posted by a parent on 6/4/2013I'm disappointed more people have not voted to this school of organized ladies and gentlemen. From everyone from the custdians to the principal ensure that these children recieve a safe and solid education! They all seem to do it so effortlessly, as if you and your child are a part of their extended family! I love this school, they really rock! I would have never known that so many fortunate children attend because they seem to know each one and their family dynamics individually! Did I mention how great and supportive the other parents are of each other children? Our village!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs someone who has worked in the School System in this state and in Florida. I felt that the staff are very caring and loving towards the students. My Grandson has been here for two years. The first year he had a difficult time with behavior. However his teachers were wonderful and he made to the end of the year. This year he was given additional support and started out well. As a family we had some life changing events which made his behavior changed for the worst. Patrick Copeland Elementary was very patience, understanding and supportive of our Grandson. He still has his ups and downs however, his teacher keeps us informed through the class dojo ( which is wonderful!) by letting us know what we need to reinforce at home. We are happy with his progress so far . He has a long way to go but not as long if it had not had the support from Patrick Copeland Elementary School.Parent Review4y ago - Enon Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school for people going into middle/high school. The classes are extremely limited, and it feels like there is a lot of favoritism in this school.Other Review6mo ago
