As a parent and Alumni, I love Hampton High School. My son currently goes there and has had a wonderful first year. The support staff is great and helpful and his teachers have all been supportive.

Posted by a student on 1/26/2022Our student was in the IB program. Clearly, a fantastic curriculum based on critical thinking and advanced writing expectations. THE way to go if your child is undecided when looking at all the Academy options.
Posted by a parent on 6/10/2020Hampton is continually receiving a bad rap from the community and others outside of the school for things that happened years ago or isolated incidents that happen at every school I've even taught for, including the Catholic ones.First, we're a family. That's why 96% of our seniors graduate on time.
Posted by a teacher on 10/13/2017My school is amazing, during the first week the teachers are amazing and so sweet. They help you get from point A to B and they don't hassle you. They work with you to shift you from a middle school mindset to a high schooler/ young adult mindset and it's been a pleasure so far.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere's been many complaints about this school. Some of the staff has been replaced the assistant principal was let go. But some of the staff that was a part of the problem is still there along with the principal. The staff is very mean they're very mean to the children. They let the children fight the principal does nothing. Which her emails are being intercepted by the new assistant principal. Some of the teachers yell at the students, there's beef and dislike among the staff so you know who already is running it , my two daughters have seen this over the years but not anymore. I'm with drawing them from the school. Their friends also go to the school and know that the staff is very. the lunch lady even told my daughter to clean up her mess on the floor. The bullying on the bus is even worse. Let alone staff are friends with the most popular kids and allowing the bullying.
