South River Elementary School

I’ve known south river as a very bad school!

I'm hoping that this year improves but so far I've had nothing but a headache from this school. I go to constant meetings about my child and nothing seems to be resolved. I'm looking forward to this new school year where some of the bullies are no longer in the same class as my son. In my opinion, this school would be a great one with a larger range of teachers capable of handling children with disabilities.

South River Elementary. The teachers are very nice maybe too nice they don't properly correct the children, they get away with a whole lot more than should be tolerated. My child had a project that a child decided to knock over the teacher told her to just tape it back together. I have had problems with bullying and nothing was done til I called the law. You can't go on field trips unless your name is drawn. I have missed out on several field trips with my daughter. A very frustrated parent. We have a new principal that might make a difference. We'll see. Some teachers are rude to the children they are not officially teachers. The jym teachers try to make the children wear old tennis shoes left their if they forget to wear the proper shoes on Jym day. Disgusting and what about health risks like athletes foot. The lunch ladies don't wear hair nets while in the cafeteria cooking or serving food I seen that with my own eyes. My child kept coming home complaining about hair in the food and she said they told her they were invisible when she asked them where the hair nets were.

SRES is an amazing school! It is a family environment and a great place to learn and work.

I can't begin to tell you how horrible this school is! The staff are extremely rude to students! Bullying is a big problem at this school but nothing is done about it. I am saddened that my child has to go there.
