Otter River Elementary School

Otter River has been a wonderful place for my daughter. I was worried moving into the area and away from a school we loved dearly. But, it really is a wonderful little place. It is small so getting to know the teachers and staff is easy, and they all learn who your child is. I love the small school

Otter River is a gem. It is evident from previous negative post that a group of parents got together and decided to "blast" the school. School is very unfair in how it handles students. Certain teachers will "insinuate" it's not a good work place but won't come out and say so out of fear for losing their job. RUN from this school....Pay for private school or request that your child be placed at another Bedford county public school!

Low budget and very poorly managed school.

Compared other schools in Bedford County this is one of the worst. Not as advance in technology or education.....students are "passed over" when they need help learning and "passed to the next grade" in order for the school to "look good". Facilities are "outdated" and traffic before and after schoo
