Read what parents are saying about Mary Williams Elementary SchoolI have been here since Kindergarten and I love this school so much, The staff and teachers are the nicest people and are so child-friendly, and I'm proud that I stayed here until Middle School. It has field trips, field days, nice people, beautiful paintings on the wall and so many educational sources and activities for children to join they always communicate with families to show how friendly the school is and it makes learning fun. I love the memories I made here and they are always looking to improve the school. If you want an early learning for the best experience, I would recommend Mary F Williams Elementary School.
Posted by a community member on 4/2/2024Our son has gone here for first and second grade. The principal is incredibly responsive and supportive of the parents. So far our experience has been really good with our sons teachers.

Posted by a student on 9/4/2018My daughter has been at Williams since Kindergarten and is now in the 2nd grade. We are a military family and will be moving in the summer. I'm already having heart palpitations. This school is incredible. I'm confused with why is rated a 5?????From the leader (Principal Colon), to the front office staff, to maintenance and custodians our entire family feels like they are "doing life" with us. Our family puts great emphasis on education and the bar is high at home AND at school. All the teachers my daughter has had are very engaged and communitative. Even in 2nd grade my daughter participates in the Gifted Program, Book Club, Tennis Club and the Military Kids Club. Mary Williams has given her a tremendous educational foundation and we hope to find this type of dedicated school at our next duty station.
Posted by a parent on 12/13/2016We're a military family and have been very happy with the school over the past two years. The teachers have been engaged and communicate very well. No signs of bullying and a diverse student body helps expose them to broader demographics in terms of race, religion, and even socio-economic. The principal is very approachable; VP not so much; and the front desk is always friendly and looking to help out.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to this school for one and she was heavy bullied by somebody with a disability she was slapped hit and she's also disabled. school never took matters correctly into hands. told my daughter to ignore the bullying. my daughter suffered 1 stroke. from the underlying stress and thousands of freezes up meaning she couldn't move her body I gave the school doctors notes everything for them to stop the bullying but wouldn't because the student had a behavior problem. my daughter was having so much anxiety it was terrifying. I can't believe what this school put my daughter through. and when she finally fought back after being hit multiple times with things inside PE. she defended herself. she got suspended and was told to apologize? in front of the whole school for her actions. actually, I'll never recommend this school to ANYONE. and my daughter told everything to teachers the head they did nothing but talked it out which didn't work at all. worst school my daughter has ever been to more like a prison.Parent Review8mo ago - Neabsco Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are from New Mexico originally so went through the elementary system there. But moved here from Las Vegas Nevada. I will say this my son attended here two years 4th and 5th. My daughter is still here and she still has another year. Some of their teachers have been great. Some just ok, lack communication, won’t email back, or will but days later. The school lacks culture diversity. I am sorry but there are so many children from different races and ethnicities that attend this school and it seems to be that one is just represented. This school also lacks community all around. My son goes to Rippon now and seeing the programs there, the parent engagement, the communication, the principal also communicates and is very diverse. This is what Fitzgerald is lacking. My question is why has nothing been done? It also lacks arts.. my daughter hates going to art because the art teacher never does his job. He then lies on the report card that he teachers certain things like 2D, 3D, or clay and she has done none of it. I don’t understand how this elementary has not been checked on and how it goes under the radar or how the principal is praised for being mediocre. I guess I am used to the elementary schools in the southwest states being more culturally inclusive and having more parent involvement and community.Parent Review2mo ago - Covington-Harper Elementary School
