Quality educational practices, great student/teacher ratio, professional, easy to work with staff, excellent school policy. The teachers are dedicated to students. The school atmosphere is relaxed, not rushed, as it is in some schools. Overall, this is a great school.

A 5 Star School! This rating system is based on SOL scores. The fact that Stony Mill offers a program for children with special needs surely lowers their average SOL scores. Stony Mill is an excellent school, offering small class sizes as well as excellent parental involvement. The teachers, from my experience, are some of the best, most caring and involved that I have ever encountered!
