Posted by a student on 10/13/2023Administration only cares about their "stats." There are constant fights, vaping, and drug usage at this school as well. I could sit here and write a book of all my complaints against how certain students are treated unfairly. Not to mention accommodations for students who the extra help are not made.

Failing to address bullying repeatedly (this has nothing to do with COVID as it was happening before COVID, admin needs to stop making excuses and stop using COVID as a scapegoat). ZERO response from admin, ZERO communication, ZERO following up on bullying issues. For parents who can afford it, Western feeder students go to private school for 6-8th grade BECAUSE of the terrible experience at this "elite" school. Fights breaking out ALL day long, very unsafe school environment tolerated by admin to maintain their image. The teachers are fantastic despite apathetic admin.
Posted by a parent on 3/15/2022my experience here has been awful. the teachers are hit or miss. for every one good one there will be 2/3 bad ones. bullying is awful and since i moved here in 2016 the school has dropped 2 stars. i am going into 7th grade and i do not like Henley at all

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son flourished at this school. We moved from Northern Virginia where schools are very competitive. I was extremely impressed with the forward thinking of the teachers and interactive use of classrooms and the outdoors as well as often cross-teaching amongst subjects to help the children put skills to use. Science and Math classes are often integrated as well as History and English classes. My son made some amazing friends and adored all of his teachers. The principal is also very impressive and her commitment to the kids and the school is unparalleled. Very happy my son was fortunate enough to attend Crozet Elementary.Parent Review4y ago
