Read what parents are saying about Centreville High SchoolThis school is okay for the most part. However, I feel as if they don't care for their students as much as they say. My stepdaughter went here for 2 years before switching schools because of the kids being mean. She said students often glorify being mean and rude to others and even push them to do things they don't want, which was a big issue for her. I've been in this girl's life since she was 4 and the drastic turn she had when she entered this high school was awful, her mother and I went through so much to find ways to help her, and switching schools was the best thing for her. Her mood has improved so much. I really believe that the school needs an evolution in the way the students treat each other.
Posted by a parent on 8/8/2023School is okay, all the teachers are fine except for the history and science teachers. There is only ONE history teacher that really cares and the rest are all bad. They put a disrespectful amount of pressure and workload on students causing them to be stressed 24/7. There are absolutely no good biology and chemistry teachers here. Absolutely disheartening to see. The teachers don’t care and you can see it. Honestly needs a lot of work.
Posted by a student on 5/2/2023This school has taken 2 of my daughter's from 9th to graduation (I hope). I've enjoyed almost everything about this school. Teachers, administrators, other students and parents has made the entire 6 year experience incredible.
Posted by a parent on 3/10/2023This school is a cut above. We had our children at Robinson for awhile but they finished at Centreville. This school is the best we’ve seen. We truly believe this school is the best in the county!
Posted by a parent on 8/23/2020This school is incredible! I really felt at home here. The environment is very relaxed, and everyone is so encouraging. I always felt like I had support from my teachers and people who I didn't know very well even if I was struggling with a concept. I was always excited and inquisitive to learn new things because my teachers were so kind and their teaching style was suitable for most students. Besides academics, there are many clubs and sports to join. I can guarantee that there is a sport/club/activity that is meant for any student.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel there needs to be more positive reviews about this school! Our family has LOVED it. We enrolled our daughter starting in 1st grade for the Spanish immersion and she has REALLY flourished in her Español.I had received great recommendations from two other parents of students (two separate families) who I knew personally. Both of them had nothing but good things to say about the school - very contrary to the harsh reviews! My first impression was and remains to be after many school events, that every staff member, from the awesome principal Padmore, certainly all of the teachers my daughter has had in her 1.5 years, even the librarians and 'specials' teachers - ALL REALLY care about the students. My daughter came home after just 2 months of her first year at LTES and told me "I love speaking Spanish". I was overjoyed. We are excited for our son to begin his immersion journey next year in Kindergarten.Note: My daughter has experienced some bullying/meanness, but it has been from only one child. I do feel that the teachers and the administration have taken it seriously and helped the situation. I feel that the school and administration have a proactive, constructive approach to bullying and conflict resolution. I have not seen anyone take it lightly or dismiss it EVER as some reviews have suggested. Perhaps those reviews are just outdated??Parent Review1y ago - Centreville Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA great elementary school should have amazing teachers, fun activities, and a safe and clean environment. I would say that Willow Springs has all of these things! The teachers are kind, knowledgeable, and always there to help. The students do fun projects and play games that make learning exciting. The school is also always clean and safe, making it a great place for kids to learn and grow. Overall, I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a fantastic elementary school experience!Parent Review1y ago - Poplar Tree Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first experience in elementary school with my older soon being in kindergarten. He absolutely loves it, and is thrilled about learning and going to school every day. He has improved in every academic area but also in social areas as well. The teachers are amazing and everyone I talk to who goes here so far has loved their experience.Parent Review4mo ago - Powell Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI highly recommend Montessori Children’s Center in Centerville. This place truly fosters the Montessori child-centered educational approach, nurturing each child's natural desire for knowledge, respect and understanding. My son has been going to this school for almost two years and has been flourishing in this environment, thanks to the dedication and patience with which the teachers have treated him. The school director (Ms. Rama) is very knowledgeable, hard working, and always available to answer our questions in a timely manner. What I appreciate the most is the flexibility offered in order to meet every child’s needs, and the kindness with which my son is being treated here. He loves going to school here and hugs the teacher when he sees her. Also, MCC has great classes all year round – we love the summer program!Parent Review1y ago
