Posted by a community member on 3/4/2026My kids came from an out of state school where they werent fans of going to school. Since we moved here they love going and have thrived at Chittum. Every year the teachers are wonderful and give a little more time for the kids that need it. The teaching assistants are also always amazing.

Posted by a parent on 10/8/2024Maybe Chittum should be more focused on having grades and actual curriculums for the students rather than having spirit weeks every single week of the school year… I’m truly disappointed that with all the money that went into the new building and these kids don’t learn anything.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI admit when I looked at the great schools score I was nervous about my child attending. But I have been pleasantly surprised with this school. Her teachers have been amazing communicators and my daughter has said nothing but positive things about the teachers and their care and understanding. We are a military family and they went out of their way to meet with my child and ease her transition to a new school and state. The school communicates with parents on a weekly basis plus additional emails from the teacher.
