Powell Valley Middle School

This is an okay school. 5th grade is SUPER fun, but there aren't really clubs. 6th grade does have things like band or chorus, but it's not a grade you want to be in. 7th and 8th grade are both cool. I like how you get P.E. everyday and you can take certain classes, like woodshop or keyboarding. The

My son had an in class project for English 6 last year, the project began in November. Teacher calls me in April fussing that he is no where complete for Academic night. No followup by this teacher is a concern. The SOL scores at this school are subpar. There is no happy medium, either teachers are

The school Has a Very Good Principal.The Teachers are very willing and would Take care of anyone in need.They need some type of recess and equipment like a playground.The school Needs some inprovements but other then that its a great school to go to.

I went to Powell Valley, and all the teachers are very willing to help any student in need. Everyone is friendly and willing to lend a hand. My daughter enjoys going to Powell Valley as well.
