Amelia Elementary has to be one of the worst schools in the state of Virginia possibly the country … They pass children to the next grade level with report cards that have 80% F grades. My son's kindergarten was the only saving grace for this school. I had to take him every day because the county puts K-12 on the same bus. Many kids fall through the cracks here. Don't expect anyone in administration to do anything in a timely manner or return phone calls. Parent involvement in this

We have one student in this school. We were sick of Nottoway Co. Public schools and our child's current private school closed so we were referred here by family who have students here and also teach here. It has been an absolute god send that we found AA. The students are top notch and very welcoming. Our daughter went in and made friends day 1. The staff is very responsible and easy to talk to. Everyone looks out for one another. The administration is top notch and really cares about the students and their academic futures. I wouldn't think twice about sending my child here over other private options nearby.
