Posted by a parent on 3/12/2020My three kids are in this school and they are doing great.I really like the teaching staff and management. They are hard workers and doing their best.
Posted by a parent on 3/9/2017Worst School Ever!! My son has been going to this school for 5 years and I really wish I could transfer him. The staff does not seem to care about the kids academically and there's not a lot of support or help at all. All the test scores are extremely low for this to be a Fairfax County Public School. They are Also very unorganized!
Posted by a parent on 10/5/2015Some of Hybla Valley's administrators I have met with are curt, abrasive and have superiority complexes. I think this reflects on the whole school and I would rather enroll my child into private or move than have them attend this low scoring school.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI will never undestand why this school continues to get such low scores, as they do not reflect what a good, sweet elementary school this is. My son is in 1st grade and runs to the bus top every day, happy and excited to go to school. His teachers have been kind, patient, very respectful to their students, and willing to communicate with us any time. Principal Kuntz is kind and makes it a point to learn every student's name and greet them with a friendly smile every morning. We appreciate the economic, neurodevelopmental and ethnic diversity at Belle View Elementary and see it was a real benefit to our son's emotional growth and larger life perspective. We're also happy that they Advanced Academic Program is now part of Belle View's offerings instead of kids having to move to another school to partcipate. The actual school building, classrooms and outside play areas are also very nice. I would strongly recommend all neighboring families to tour the school and talk to other parents rather than basing their choice on these scores alone. They do not paint an accurate or full picture.Parent Review1y ago - Bucknell Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience as a parent of my 7 year old so far has been Great I can't 'complain about teachers or staff at this school . Parent need to support there kids as well , is not only the school teachers that need to do all the job. Every parent should help their children's at home to be successful. Just to mention the Principal is vey engage in every activity in the School which is wonderful .Parent Review3y ago - St Louis Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. Louis is a nice small Catholic school. The PTA is lovely and works hard for the school. The administration seems to be wonderful with the students. The middle school is going through a rather big transition with teachers. All schools are. There is a new English teacher and a new science teacher who are both strong teachers. They seem very understanding. They are wonderful with the students and have a great knowledge base. The middle school math and religion continues to be the school’s weakest subjects. Teachers keep changing. Religion was a bit drab and h exciting for our child and the teacher is a little judgemental. There aren’t a whole lot of volunteer or community outreach opportunities for the students for religion either. My child did community service hours at another Catholic school. The lower school seems to have had a turnover so I can’t speak for that level. St. Louis feeds into Bishop Ireton and a few other Catholic schools in the area.Other Review1y ago - Montessori School Of Alexandria

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe COVID safety is atrocious. Cases are being reported multiple times a day with no protection. This school is over priced and worth skipping for consideration.Parent Review1y ago
