Next my son who went here for 2nd through 3rd. It was not the best. He has ADHD and anxiety. His 2nd grade teacher amazing! He’s 3rd grade terrible. It was a male teacher with his masters… yet couldn’t really find a way to connect with my son. Which is fine, we as humans don’t always connect. But looking back as my son is finishing 4th grade at a charter school now, it’s night and day different! He’s excelling, making friends and actually feels included. Finally my youngest son who attended kindergarten at kanesville. He is black and we adopted him at age 3. We learned QUICKLY this school is so uncomfortable and not for people of color. His teacher was great for typical education. Administration is crap. Rasmussen doesn’t care or will listen to others perspectives. We were SO uncomfortable with a Thanksgiving program they did. Songs about guns, Indians, pilgrims, etc. There are plenty of cute age appropriate songs about turkeys and things. We brought this up to the principal and it was like talking to a brick wall. You could tell he didn’t care and my husband and I felt hopeless after our meeting. We reached out to other black adoptees and families, 90% agreed it was wrong and would be upset too. We luckily got them into a charter and let me tell you how my two children have THRIVED this year! We feel heard, my children feel happy and involved and are excelling!Parent Review2w ago9 Reviews - Country View School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSince kindergarten, my son has been a student at Quest. In kindergarten, he was diagnosed with Autism, Expressive and Receptive Language Disorder. Initially, I lacked a comprehensive understanding of the IEP process and felt confident that Quest prioritized my son’s well-being. However, this perception has been challenged as he progresses to fourth grade. It has become evident that Quest’s primary focus is on maintaining its enrollment numbers rather than ensuring the optimal educational experience for my son. During his third-grade year, the school conducted psychological assessments by a PhD doctor, revealing that he was academically at a kindergarten to first-grade level. The school attributed these results to my son’s persistent refusal to complete his assignments. However, it failed to recognize that my son genuinely struggled to comprehend the tasks due to his intellectual limitations. In fourth grade, an independent PhD psychologist conducted an assessment, which confirmed that my son’s academic level has progressed to a first to second-grade range and he has been diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability. Despite these findings, Quest continues to dispute my son’s academic level, refusing to acknowledge the data provided by two separate medical professionals. When I inquired about the possibility of holding my son back a year, I was informed that the school basically refuses holding students back and that I am essentially requesting my son’s perpetual stagnation and lack of growth by advocating for a lower grade level.Given these circumstances, I have decided that Quest is not the appropriate educational institution for my son, especially considering his IEP and the need for special accommodations. Consequently, we will be withdrawing from the school after this academic year concludes.Parent Review2mo ago31 Reviews - Bridge Elementary School
