Pretty good school tbh but a lot of fights happen
Posted by a student on 11/4/2025They (Davis School District) need to spend some money on upgrades for this school to give the students a more comfortable learning environment. I have seen elementary schools (in the neighborhood, within blocks of SJH) get new gymnasiums, libraries, cafeterias, actual stages with real sound systems

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnless you want a "woke" agenda shoved down your kids throats, then this is the place for you! "Human Rights" agenda is being focused on mostly in the classes instead of teaching the material.. I felt my child was being kept behind. The school was behind in teaching history and math that should be covered for a 5th grader. No SEM program for gifted students. Little to no field trips. I switched my child to another school close by and I have seen a massive diffence in just 2 weeks. I do not recommend this school at all! 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student who has been going to this school for 2 years. This school is HORRIBLE the kids here are terrible and the staff here are terrible. They will take away your phone no matter what even if your calling someone they will take it away. And the food don't even get me started on the food. The food here was TERRIBLE the grill cheese made 3 kids throw up and the cheese is Moldy. And the cheese burgers were gross.
