A quiet powerhouse in the state, Ensign is a fabulous resource for the community. Rated Exemplary for many years by the state, and a standout in the city. This small school inspires loyalty and dedication from families as it inspires and provides personalized instruction and care to students. We can’t say enough about how valuable the educators at Ensign have been in our children’s lives.

We absolutely love how welcoming and warm everyone has been! We transferred mid year and it’s been just what our family needed!

Both of our kids were pre-K through 12 'lifers.' They had ups and downs, like any kids, but had a great experience at RH and made their own decisions not to leave, particularly at the High School marker. They were challenged and given guidance throughout their academics, engaged deeply in sports (primarily soccer, ski racing, and golf), and were well served by the school's college counseling, each ending at an institution that was well suited for them. While the middle and high school facilities are certainly a bit tired, that will be resolved in the next year with the new, about to open facilities. Couldn't recommend RH enough.

I attended this school when it was first founded in 1996, when it was still operating out of the basement of the cathedral. When my family considered moving back to Salt Lake City for work, one of the biggest motivations was having my children attend this school. What made the school special to me then was the way community, education, and music were all connected and played a major role in my development. 30 years later, I've been incredibly impressed to see those same core values still at the center of the school, even as its grown. My two daughters receive an incredible amount of support both in and out of the classroom and they are thriving in ways that make me proud as a parent. I've been especially impressed with how well the school, and its faculty communicate with families. Teachers regularly share how students are progressing, where they are excelling and where they can continue to grow. Having the opportunity to return as a parent and see the same culture that shaped my childhood still thriving today has been incredibly meaningful for our family.
