Emerson is a wonderful school. Two of my children have attended from kindergarten to sixth grade and we loved their teachers. The principal is fantastic at addressing issues as they occur.

When answering questions they are vague, and if you ask for them to clarify to get a better understanding they seem annoyed. The principle is the WORST principle. Nothing

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve submitted multiple reports regarding bullying. For a school with “zero tolerance” they seem to tolerate quite a bit. My child has been physically harmed and yet nothing has been done. Aside from placating words I don’t feel that the administration actually cares to stop bullying in their school. They had ups and downs, like any kids, but had a great experience at RH and made their own decisions not to leave, particularly at the High School marker. They were challenged and given guidance throughout their academics, engaged deeply in sports (primarily soccer, ski racing, and golf), and were well served by the school's college counseling, each ending at an institution that was well suited for them. While the middle and high school facilities are certainly a bit tired, that will be resolved in the next year with the new, about to open facilities.
