Read what parents are saying about Mccall Elementary SchoolThe Kindergarten teacher my child had didn't seem to want my child since they were a tad difficult, she would write every little thing they did wrong, over exaggerated by saying they threw (blank), but the video only showed them just dropping the item. She neglected my child and left him in the classroom while leaving to take the rest of the class out to another classroom. She didn't check to make sure all were accounted for before leaving to make sure no child was left behind. She only focused what he did "wrong" while locked in her room, but no one, not the principal, not the assistant principal nor the teacher thought they should have done a better job via the teacher side. Her report was only focused on what my child did while inside the locked room (took down teachers post/ decorations/ etc.) and they left out the part of the so called responsible teacher. I had to bring this up to them like this is negligence and could have been dangerous for my child to be left alone in a class or somewhere else- period. FYI: She was not a first year teacher either. The same teacher is seen pulling my child's arm on video, the principal and assistant principal (they didn't even address this BTW), the video was shown to me because he refuse to go to class after being pull out of the line, then we see the teacher yanks his arm to get him to move, and then leave him alone in the hall crying. AGAIN this was only shown to me to view HIS rebellion! My child later tells me that the actual principal hurt his arm, the district police- said its not criminal so no charger will be given. They are not suppose to touch children, one teacher is seen yanking him on video and its not hard to see, that if the teacher did it (the principal didn't see anything wrong with that), chances are the principal does it. I really hope no other child had or will ever have the same experience with them. I hope they learn from this and this never happens again. Advice for any parents who have a wild child (ADHD or anything), record all conversations with all the staff from day one, yes they are nice, but they will lie and say they never told you that. They claim to have the child best interest but if you have any concerns you bring up or point out what they did wrong (hurting arm), they will get defensive and only care to protect the school image in a very friendly matter. My child did like his new teacher, but by that point, we lost all trust with the school.
Posted by a parent on 10/4/2023McCall is an example of teamwork between staff, students and community (i.e., parents, grandparents, etc.). As a grandparent to two girls who attend McCall, I am impressed with the supportive atmosphere. It is the first time in my life as a parent or teacher that I have heard students addressed as friends.
Posted by a community member on 8/17/2014As part of a military family my children have gone to several schools around the country. McCall Elementary and the Aledo School District are head and shoulders above anything I have seen... anywhere.
Posted by a parent on 9/10/2013Outstanding leadership! The Prinicipal is always accessable , mingling with the parents and children, even helps with opening doors in the morning rush! The teachers are caring and offer a structured curriculum in comfortable surroundings. Our daughter has flourished here!
Posted by a parent on 8/6/2013My girls both go to Mcall. I love both the teachers, and the office staff. I love the fact that they keep the parents envolved in everything.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from aledo christian school. The teachers were absolutely amazing! They really poured out into the students not just academically but also gave great counsel for the issues they dealt with. The administration is wonderful as well. The teachers teach because they love the students not for the pay. Being a teacher doesnt always pay well. Being at that school was exactly what I needed. I recommend it to anyone and everyone!Other Review13y ago - Trinity Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWow Trinity Christian Academy is Awesome. We are so bless to be able to send our daughters there. My Daughters not only get a great college preparatory education, great variety of sports, numerous activities, trips, etc…, they get to experience it in a Loving Christian environment. They even have core groups that groups that brings students from various grades together to support and learn from one another as well as pray. It is really hard to explain what we witness happening at the school. The school has the same problems that any other school has since we are a broken people. It’s just the way they handle things in a Biblical way and with True Love and Care.Just the other day my daughter was telling me about a wonderful thing that happened in her history class. One of the students was having major issues at home, the entire class (boys included) came together in prayer, comfort, and encouragement for the student. My daughter was telling me how beautiful it was. My daughter doesn’t usually express such things or call them beautiful. God was allowed in that class room and was moving. God is alive and moving in the school. We are truly blessed for our girls to be a part of the Trinity Christian Academy FAMILY. Thank You Lord.Parent Review7y ago - Walsh Elementary School
