I think this school is a joke! The way they make the teachers teach does not help my child or many others learn anything. We can have meeting after meeting and still get nowhere. If you are considering a school in this are take the extra drive to Sweeny to give your child a chance to learn something.

West Columbia Elementary- The teachers are great, easy to check on your child anytime, great library and PE. The lady who worked in the office when you checked in or called was awesome this past year. On another note, getting the principle to work with you because your child is being bullied is not going to happen. Teachers have helped with the situation but it seems like each year, the bullying is getting worse. This campus is a pick and choose which students get attention and education and I believe it should be any child. Have they ever considered the bully may have a problem of their own?? No. Did they help with my child being bullied?? No. As I stated, the teachers helped a little but when the problem was not getting solved and I spoke with the principal, it was as if she didn't care.

It has Bullies in it.. I do not like bullies.. Hurting my Kids.. This School Sucks they do not help you with the bullies..

I am writing a book on teacher history. In 1968,69 and 70 I am trying to find out the name of the 1st grade teachers for West Columbia. Please someone help me.

I love that WCE still feels ike a small town school. As a parent, I am welcome at the school at anytime during the day. All of the teachers are friendly to the parents.
