South Waco Elementary School

My daughter enjoyed her time at the school. Her elementary teacher was great and inspired her to learn outside the classroom as well. Not the greatest parent involvement, but I believe the teachers and Principal Randazzo are doing a great job here.

I have worked with faculty and students at Bell's Hill Elementary for over 15 years as part of Baylor University's School of Education. The faculy, staff, and administration are professional and positive. Baylor School of Education has a partnership with Bell's Hill as a Professional Development School to train teachers because it is a great school!

I also want to raise concerns about what I perceive as discrimination against my child based on his disability, gender, and race. The school community at Kendrick Elementary is predominantly Hispanic, including teachers and students. Unfortunately, I have observed and been told that Hispanic students and staff can sometimes be rude or dismissive toward students of other races.It appears that when students of different races, including my child, are mistreated by Hispanic students, these incidents are often not taken seriously or properly addressed. However, if a student of the same race as my child were to bully another, it is treated as a significant issue. This inconsistent approach to discipline and handling of bullying creates an unfair environment where my child is left vulnerable and unsupported.This perceived unequal treatment based on race and the lack of appropriate response to bullying has caused my child significant emotional distress. I am requesting that the school address this issue with the seriousness it deserves to ensure all students are treated equally and fairly, regardless of their race or background.

This school is great if you like for your child to be addressed as BOY OR GIRL, rather than the name you gave them at birth....I can't wait until the school year is up... My daughter and I do not like this school...So so not good...

Live Oak Classical School provides a classical Christian education for students from pre-k through 12th grade. The school is divided into three levels: Grammar (JK-6), Logic (7-9), and Rhetoric (10-12). The school provides a world-class education, following models of classical school outlined by Charlotte Mason but modifying it for today's world. They also focus on character development and promote an ecumenical Christian worldview. The faculty and administrators care deeply about helping children grow and operate under a "growth mindset" where failure helps one learn and grow. They encourage and support individual gifts and talents and offer a range of special classes multiple times a week, including art, music, choir, drama, Spanish, Latin, ready bodies, and PE. This school is fantastic for many reasons. I encourage you to check it out.

St. Paul's Episcopal School offers programs for Early Toddlers through 6th Grade. I really like the fact that students attend chapel 3 times a week. The IB program teaches the students to be inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective.
