My child will NOT attend this school next year for their unprofessionalism and not working together as teams. They are too busy trying to report people to CPS instead of getting to the root of the problem. Teachers do not communicate with the parents and the school is too worried about test scores f
Posted by a parent on 4/19/2019My grandson is currently in the 1st grade at Mountainview Elementary School. He had a great educational experience there in Kindergarten and is finding the same caring, competent faculty in 1st grade. So far, we are more than pleased with the entire experience he is having.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal and assistant principal do not care if your kid has a 504 or is in SPED. They would do and say anything to get those type of kids kicked out or written up. This may be a magnet school and I wish it wasn't. Parkdale was a great school that has supportive teachers, tutoring, after school activities and an awesome community feel. I came back years later and had all three of my kids there. The teacher support is still amazing! They were there for them academically and emotionally. My kids were happy to go there.
