The principle is very off putting and unapproachable. The teachers do not work with you if your child is having a hard time. They place blame on child and parents, instead of trying different techniques to help the child. They take away recess as a punishment!!! . All of the teachers seem rude and a

The district has made great strides in the last few years to keep up with a quickly changing population. The facilities are first rate, the staff and administration are professional and knowledgeable , and the students are held to high personal, behavioral, and academic standards. Having raised 5 children and 4 grandchildren, I have been involved with many of the local districts. In my opinion, Troy ISD is the best district in the area.
