Jefferson Elementary School

My daughter has been at this school for the past 5 years. She has grown both academically and socially. The teachers really care about the kids. All of my daughter’s teachers have gone above and beyond. The ladies in the front office are welcoming and the principal really listens and cares. I definitely recommend this school!

Not a great experience. If you have a gifted child I would send them somewhere else if you can. They say they support this enrichment but my kid hasn’t learned anything. We have to do school on our own because the school is so dysfunctional. The school staff is poorly trained in child development and disciple. They call parents for the smallest thing. This just shows the child the adults at the school don’t have any authority. This happens at all levels from teacher to principle so I would strongly recommend finding another school if you can.

Our son really enjoys this school, and the teachers have made us feel that he is cared for and safe. He has been thriving in this type of educational setting, and it has positively impacted his sense of independence.

Academics are subpar. Punishments are cruel and not disclosed to parents. Retaliation towards whistleblowers. Financials are not fully transparent. Art room floods multiple times a year and staff isn’t aware for days to get someone to dry it out. Special education is not offered. Students are not challenged or given advanced work or opportunities. Class sizes are at max capacity. Competition is discouraged. Teachers have to teach art and science as no staff for those positions. Technological opportunities for students are out dated. Library is not accessible and fully functional to students. Teachers are not given supplies and equipment to perform their jobs. Disciplinary actions are biased and focused on nepotism.

Amazing! Everything about this school creates a joyous learning environment for kids. This school raises the bar! Love it!!
