Some teachers are very good, but many are football coaches who are not good teachers at all.The textbooks claim to be from a Christian perspective, but it is really a politically conservative perspective that uses some Christian language to disguise the true agenda. Many of the textbooks are from BJ
Posted by a parent on 9/23/2023Overall, this school is only okay if your child is invested in sports and already from a religious household. However, the coaches and faculty foster a toxic environment here. The quality of the teachers vary wildly (some are coaches due to understaffing), and the AP offerings are sparse. The heads o

Posted by a parent on 4/14/2022Bad. There were some genuinely good teachers and experiences, but the personal agenda of the school, the inequitable prioritization of athletics over academics and arts, and the caving of administration to the whims of financially vital families makes it an ineffective school. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been at this school for the past 5 years. She has grown both academically and socially. The teachers really care about the kids. All of my daughter’s teachers have gone above and beyond. The ladies in the front office are welcoming and the principal really listens and cares. I definitely recommend this school!Other Review3y ago - Kennedy-Powell Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot a great experience. If you have a gifted child I would send them somewhere else if you can. They say they support this enrichment but my kid hasn’t learned anything. We have to do school on our own because the school is so dysfunctional. The school staff is poorly trained in child development and disciple. They call parents for the smallest thing. This just shows the child the adults at the school don’t have any authority. This happens at all levels from teacher to principle so I would strongly recommend finding another school if you can.Parent Review2y ago
