The school used to be among the best in all areas, but in recent years has become one of the worst. There is little discipline enforcement by administrators, which allows less time for teachers to do their job. I sent multiple kids to the school through the years, and it was a much better experience

Posted by a parent on 2/21/2019The staff are rude and disrespectful to the students and all the students have simple solutions but the principal won’t listen to reason because she’s being difficult. Simply to put it a small group of 4 or 5 people making a bad decision to fight shouldn’t result in punishing the other 2,000 student
Posted by a student on 1/17/2019Kempner is awesome ! My daughter has been accepted to the all the colleges on her choice including one of the ivies. (Cornell). We are thrilled and will be sending our younger son to Kempner too.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went here and the funding is low like other parents mentioned. The events they have are engaging but the amount of donations they ask for is crazy. The amount of he is also minimum. There’s barely material or any homework’s. There were incidents of kids teasing my kids or just instigating and my kid would get in trouble because he reacted. Teachers cleaning teeth in classroom with a phone camera, texting always , leave kids to do what they want to in classroom ,very rude staff - principal , teachers and front staff.
