Read what parents are saying about Klein Collins High SchoolExcellent school in Klein ISD. Great core classes with attentive teachers.
Posted by a community member on 8/6/2020There's really nothing to write home about this school (except for the fine arts department, sports teams, and a small handful of the clubs). The administration is bad, namely the APs, and there are many teachers who need to be evaluated on how well they can teach. This is truly an average school that can't figure out how to fix broken bathroom stalls.
Posted by a student on 7/8/2019My child had strong academic progress at this school. I found the teachers to be very helpful and accessible when she had questions. I now have a second child at the school and so far, our experience is the same. I recommend this high school to others and have found in speaking with other parents, that Klein Collins High School is a school that many parents would like to get their children to attend.
Posted by a parent on 7/1/2017We have been very pleased with our experience at Klein Collins. Our daughter has had wonderful teachers who are genuinely interested in helping students...and making time for them if they need additional assistance. We know that she will be well prepared for college with that time fast approaching.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKindergarten teacher would yell at students. I was a homeroom mom and witnessed the teacher humiliating a female student in front of the class for something minor. The girl was on the verge of tears. Another parent told me her son would cry every morning because he didn't want to go to school. He said the teacher was mean and yelled all the time. My son would become overwhelmed and cry almost every day in class. He received no help from the teacher or the counselor. I tried getting help from the counselor as well but she was useless. After being told by the teacher my kid had crying issues because of MY parenting (yes, she said my parenting made him a crier), I took him to a child therapist who assured me he was completely normal and well-adjusted. Several parents, including me, complained to Principal Wall about the teacher but nothing was done. Years later, the teacher is still there. I hear she is still receiving complaints. My son has been attending a different school the last two years and is thriving. He is well-liked by his teachers, his grades have improved-all As-, and his standardized test scores improved significantly-50th/60th percentile to 90th/95th percentile. He is much happier now that he is in a supportive, encouraging environment. No more tears! I would never send him back to Haude. I made the mistake of sending him for 3 years. I did not make that mistake with my daughter. She never went to Haude. She and my son love their current school and have never once been yelled at by their teachers.Parent Review11mo ago - Roth Elementary

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has numerous educators that lack compassion for students that are esoteric. They tend to have a constant bias to those students that are Hispanic or of African American descent. Some staff also withhold valuable information from parents that are seeking other educational assistance outside of Roth.Parent Review4y ago - Kreinhop Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had problems with this school for years. I honestly thought nothing could be worse than the former Principal but I was wrong. There is no compassion or empathy for children as far as I can tell. This is a real disappointment.Parent Review3y ago - Northwoods Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am only writing this to help...I am an educator, and this is the last place I would take my child. The accelerated work is not age appropriate and the owner is extremely unprofessional and sneaky. Beware.Parent Review2y ago - Trinity Lutheran School
