St. Joseph's has the ability, the possibility, and the calling to institute a basic philosophical and theological structure within the hearts of children. Whether they are Christian or no, children require foundational formation for their spiritual selves, just as a child requires foundational formation in reading. St. Joseph's provides this spiritual basis which supplements their spiritual upbringing at home. In a secular humanist society, it is simply not enough to expect that a child will be completely, wholly, and fully formed in one aspect of their existence from a couple hours per night and some hours on weekends; rather, formation requires complete immersion on a day-to-day basis. Why do I send my children to St. Joseph's? Because it is my duty as their father to ensure that they are formed as wholly, and holy, as possible in all aspects of their existence - physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual, before I release them to the world that is intent on consuming their soul. I refuse to release them to the wolves of society without doing my best to fully prepare them for the obstacles they will encounter.
