Seguin Elementary School

I love this school. As a Catholic School it provides a Christ centered education keeping God in Everything We Do. The teachers really care about the students. Not only do they learn but they focus on values of Faith, Hope and Charity the Catholic Virtues. There are nonCatholics who attend and we are very welcoming letting Christ be our light. I saw a review where one was troubled about the religious portion...well we are a Catholic school and as such we will instill Catholic teaching in our kids...no one forces people to attend...your child will be loved as a child of God made in his image. If you take issue with Catholic teaching then don't send your child to this school. Its like if I disagreed with another denomination school then I would not place my child there and I certainly would not bash the school because that is their belief system. It is a wonderful school for all children but if you dont want a truly Catholic education then you can choose another school.

I had four children attend St. James Catholic School from PreK through 8th grade. Their education was excellent. I commend each of the teachers for their dedication and genuine concern for each student in their class. My children had the opportunity to participate in athletics, academic competitions, take field trips, and to receive their sacramental preparation as Catholics. Still today, my children will tell you their best friends are the ones they made at St. James Catholic School!
