1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm very happy with the teachers and the care they show their students my granddaughter is learning so much and has become a straight a student. In her former school she would cry about going to school here she is up and ready and is even a patrol and she loves it. I can see her growing, learning and excited about school.Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews - Sarah S King Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am extremely disappointed with my experience at Sarah King Elementary. The level of professionalism from the administration and some staff members has been very concerning. One of the biggest issues I have experienced involves my son’s therapy services. My son has a family service therapist who has proper authorization to go to the school and provide therapy to him. Despite this authorization, the school has repeatedly refused to allow the therapist access to see my son on campus. This has interfered with services that are important for his well-being and development. When trying to address concerns with the principal, the conversations often feel dismissive and unproductive. Instead of listening and working toward solutions, the tone of the discussions can come across as talking down to parents and making them feel as if their concerns are not valid or understood. Parents should feel respected when advocating for their children, but that has not been my experience. Schools should be working with families and professionals to support students, not creating barriers for children who need services. I hope the administration begins to take parents’ concerns seriously and improves the way they communicate and work with families.Overall, the school needs leadership and staff who truly care about the students and their well-being and who are willing to work with families. Parents should not feel like they are being talked down to or treated as if their concerns do not matter.I sincerely hope changes are made so that students and families receive the support, respect, and professionalism they deserve.Parent Review2mo ago4 Reviews - Christian Academy Of San Antonio

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWonderful school. So sad that it will be closing at the end of this school year. I'm shocked that no one has stepped up to continue Dr. Leninger's noble work. This school is the only Christian school serving the poorest community in San Antonio where children are taught academics through Jesus teachings and God's word. 8 hours a day is a long time to send our children away to school everyday and I have a responsibility to train my kids in the way of the Lord. This school is the best Christian school in San Antonio in my opinion. I happen to live in the north side of San Antonio and my children attended several private christian schools in that area however this school completely humbled me. I thank God every day for this school being part of my children's lives. God bless you Mrs. Turner and the entire elementary school staff.Parent Review9y ago11 Reviews - Carvajal Early Childhood Campus

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is mostly powered by HeadStart. My son attended last year for PreK3 and had the greatest teacher and teacher assistant I could have asked for his first year of school! They do have alot of parent involvement which is great, the only thing is that is conflicts a bit with my work schedule but luckily I have had greta employers who work with me so I can attend. The principal is also very nice and extremely approachable! Always has a smile on her face even when you know she is busy and will make an effort to make everyone feel welcomed. i am excited for his next year in PreK4, we already met his teacher and she seemed like such a great person also. Hopefully it goes great!Parent Review11y ago1 Reviews - Rodriguez Montessori Elementary School
