Posted by a parent on 9/12/2022i went to fox tech and them moved to lanier, that was my worst decision in my life, lot of drugs, fights and everyone do what they want, thanks i went back to Fox Tech it helped me a lot now that im in college, some of my friends from lanier didn't made it to college :/
Posted by a community member on 10/25/2015MY DREAM was always to graduate from Harlandale High School but I moving to Lanier was a BLESSING. The students and teachers took me in. Lanier is not just a school.......it"s HOME! Lanier doesn't just take you in as another student, they take you in as FAMILY. Proud to be a VOK!!!!!!
Posted by a student on 11/8/2013Lanier doesn't get the credit it deserves. The teachers work unconditionally with students. 90% of the students work hard and strive to succeed. Their fan support is unlike anything I've seen, regardless of past successfurl or poor seasons, the community is there through thick or thin.
Posted by a community member on 8/5/2010I've attended Highlands and even Jefferson High, however, as a senior I believe I've met some of the nicest and warm hearted people at Lanier. I am grateful God has placed me here.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is very concerning for me and I feel it needs to be investigated kids are not learning here and it's concerning to have a school open and children aren't successful out this school 2 of my 3 kids hated briscoe and couldn't wait to leave the school the teachers are mean and rude they speak to the kids ugly and scream at the younger prek and kinder kids the principle never gets back to parents when they have concerns she seems like she doesn't want to deal with it and believes her staff more then the parents of the children they get mad if you hang around and use the playground the female gym coach is very rude and disrespectful there's alot of concerns and this school should be closed because kids are not successful here it's sad how nothing gets done and alot of parents don't say anything wish more people spoke up this elementary needs to be closed or fire everyone and get all new employees or send them back for them to be retrained cause these staff and principle is a sad representation for SAISDParent Review7mo ago - David Crockett Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei was a student in de zavala,at first my parents were blaming the school/facualty for my non achiving grades but then they had me get one on one help with the teachers & i,and it helped alot,i recommend that the staff gives one on one help with the students because my sister goes to that school, she is entering the 5thgrade her name is jennifer rodriguez, she is a very inteligent student so i appriciate the work that the facualty and staff do at that school,i went to that school from pre-k-5th sinceraly, kathyOther Review13y ago - J T Brackenridge El
