I attended this school for around 3-4 years. LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! This school was the most draining school I had ever entered. There, I was made fun of, had my friends bullied, got targeted by NOT ONLY THE STUDENTS, but the administration and staff. Not only were the teachers constantly disrespected and rude towards all students, but some had made rude remarks towards my friends, causing most of them to cry and experience feelings no child should experience. The counselor is a joke. They don’t give any help and look appalled when a student comes in for mental help. Apparently, from what I’ve perceived, there is a huge favor system. If you’re weirdly close with the teachers and have a relation with the staff, NOTHING you do is wrong. Many of my friends have gotten bullied then suspended for days for fighting back, but the bullies and initiators get little to no punishment. The only respectful and nice staff were the lunch ladies.Overall, I never felt like I belonged at this school and I am so glad that I’ll never see this place ever again. When a previous student, and MULTIPLE students and teachers tell you not to send your student here, DO NOT ignore them. For the wellbeing of your student(s), find a better school.

I can echo what other reviewers have said regarding the administration. The environment is small and ripe for learning. But the administration has ego, and the inability to self-reflect which is a major concern for a school to be able to stay successful. The stories have heard first privately that have happened behind closed doors were shocking. In addition,A) there is zero scope and sequence year to year. B) teachers will drop whole curriculum programs and the administrations has no idea what is going on. The early years are especially poor. PC) the majority of families we knew were picking up the slack and supplementing. Half the class almost in tutors.That school is lucky to have the kids they have and the parents they have to push the kids.

Our family has been part of St. Anthony Catholic School since 2006, so we have experienced many years of growth and change. Through it all, two things have remained remarkably consistent: the strength of the St. Anthony community and the success of its graduates.The “Saints Family” is real. Families, faculty, staff, and students create a close-knit, supportive environment where children are known, encouraged, and challenged. That sense of community has been one of the most meaningful parts of our experience.Academically, the results speak for themselves. In the last nine years alone, St. Anthony alumni have included five valedictorians and five salutatorians across six different high schools, along with dozens of Top 10 graduates (not Top 10%...Top 10). Just as important, former students are consistently recognized for leadership, service, athletics, and involvement in their school communities. The celebration of both current and former students is one of my favorite things to follow as a parent. The foundation our children received at St. Anthony prepared them extremely well for high school and college. The school also places a strong emphasis on developing the whole student through athletics, extracurricular activities, faith, service, and community involvement. Students leave St. Anthony prepared not only academically, but also with the confidence and experience to take on new challenges.After nearly two decades of experience with the school, I believe St. Anthony offers one of the best values among PreK-8 schools in San Antonio. It provides an outstanding combination of academics, community, character formation, leadership opportunities, and extracurricular experiences. For our family, the return on that investment has been exceptional.And if you’re still not sure after reading a admittedly biased review from a longtime parent, I’d encourage you to take a tour and see St. Anthony for yourself. Meet the teachers, talk to the families, and experience the Saints Family firsthand.

Both of our boys attended SAA. The traditions, boy vegetated education and community sets the school apart from any other private school education. We are blessed to have this option in our city. We highly recommend SAA to any family seeking a unique and boy centered education.

My sweet christian child has a lot to learn from me as a child but he has a very hard life and he has a lot more to offer him so and the children BULLYING HIM and he has hear so much rival sours in the school he is very proud to have such an incredible incredible friend as as a student he was very bullied and he’s seen sexual interaction in the bathrooms?! HELLO!? I am just so saddened yet starved. He was a bird, always a bird, many poems to offer. I don’t like the idea that we have a cat and i don’t know what it means for us as humans and we have to learn how it is a cat or cat and i think it means a cat and yes, just don’t go to this HORRIBKE schoollll!
