Concordia Lutheran School

This is a public school that feels like a private school! We love this school for our son. It is wonderful. The community, the teachers and the opportunities at this school are great. I highly recommend HF!

Since enrolling my son at this campus from a private school his academic performance has significantly decreased which is no surprise seeing this schools widespread poor academic performance scores compared to other schools in the area. His teacher makes absolutely no effort to motivate or make lessons engaging to more gifted students, he also turns a blind eye to the pervasive bullying going on in his class. Also despite the new law House Bill 3 passed on September 2023 requiring Texas schools to have an armed security officer at every campus during the school day there is still NO full time officer on campus to ensure children's safety!!

Disappointed. My son is on the spectrum and we're learning what works. We moved and no live on the school line. Basically given no choice but to go to hardy oak. Krista did all our paperwork in a day then blew up my phone Friday before school let out while I was at work bugging for a signature. When I was in her office few weeks ago. We live a block away from the school I was trying to keep him in the same school to not have to erase the last 2 years of growth and structure my son but Principal and Krista say no. PTA mom isn't even in district but they can stay? Just Disappointed all around. I feel like they just pushed my son out without a care.

I went to school here and everyone loves the teachers. It’s a strong community that set me up for success as an adult over 10 years later

A pretty school with decent facilities, but bullying is a major problem. Food is a major problem. Drugs are a problem. Fights are a problem. Admin is also a problem.In my experience i got bullied for over a year and we brought it to admins attention it was a month of me being in and out of the office with bullying still going on. A friend and I also had to fill out and incident report. All that was done was a call home and NO punishment. The food is disgusting and extremely overpriced. Every week you find out that someone else was doing drugs or vaping in the bathroom. There are constant fist fights between students. Admin does little to nothing to support you. There is like a hierarchy of students and the people on the top won’t get any punishment (ex: the football team and the pastors kids) The football team gets more funding than anything else. Why do they need a youtube series with professional camera crews just for us to loose every game? Don’t even get me started on the work. Most of the time we are stuck staring at computer screens for 6+ hrs a day. The dress code is also way too lenient . Please, before you enroll your kids here read ALL the reviews on this site and niche. EXPECIALLY the ones made by ccs students. Becuase this school OWN students are struggling and nothing is being done to help us. This school can do better with the amounts we pay them.

We adore this school and are so thankful that our boys are there!
