Moved from a different school in the district to Anita Scott and my child went from daily suspensions to perfect days and excelling! Teachers are supportive, all special education services received (had to fight for them previously) and most importantly, my child with special needs is happy to go to

Posted by a parent on 5/21/2019My son attended Kindergarten there last year and by far was the best life changing event that could of happened to us.He was behind on his speech and other important information that he should have known at the time. He now can speak VERY clearly and is on a higher reading level then he "should be."

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot what I expected after being in an exemplary school district. Actually noticed that my child was not challenged in the classroom due to everyone else not being at the level as they were. I hate to think that Title I schools perform lower due to social status. Staff is always going above and beyond for the kids. They seem to be leading the district and area for innovative things they do.
