Cheney Hills Elementary

I felt that Cheney created an all inclusive, learning atmosphere. I felt the teachers and staff genuinely cared about their learning and well being.

This campus is a Leader in Me campus, where students are encouraged to take initiative and help improve culture, learning and the physical building. The administrative team is dedicated to supporting students and teachers, as well as encouraging families to engage in the learning community.

The school is only 3 years old and they are still "finding themselves," but there is new leadership and things seem to be moving in the right direction.

This is my favorite school to work in as an occasional substitute teacher. The students are bright, curious, and extremely respectful. They listen well and love to share what they have learned. Had I a young child, I would be very comfortable to bring him or her here.
