Overall our child is bored to tears. Before we enrolled her at this school she was fully engaged in learning, loved to go to school, and enthusiastically did homework assignments every day. She never brings anything home anymore and tells us that much of the day is spent sitting in class being quiet

She has been respected, motivated, cared for, and encouraged by her teachers and staff. The principal is receptive to feedback has worked hard to resolve my concer
Posted by a community member on 6/1/2016The new bilingual teacher, Mr. Pineda, is absolutely one of the best teachers I've ever interacted with. He's patient, kind, and caring. You can tell he really loves his job and wants what's best for his students. He's very enthusiastic and he also communicates extremely well with parents.
Posted by a community member on 3/30/2014School culture starts with the Principal. They brought in a brand new (1st year) Principal and she is really bad. It seems to be an environment where teachers aren't as happy now and parents are not involved as they were the year before. When a team has a bad coach, they replace. Let's see if Pearla

Every end of term, we received an update on our son's reading level, math, how well he was doing and also his challenges. This allowed us to challenge him in his weaker areas and continue to build him in his strong areas. Im zoned to one of the best schools in brazoria county yet I still travel to bring my kids here. They have a more hands on approach with the students which allowed my kinder child to thrive.
