Read what parents are saying about Southmore Intermediate SchoolTerrible, My child got their phone taken away and had to walk home due to no communication with my and while he was walking with his friends some gang members walked infront of them and told one of his friends to stop talking bad about someone else or else they will beat him and his friends up and luckily one of my friends saw this and picked him up. I wouldn't suggest this school to anyone as it is terrible and should get new staff as the staff right now do not care about your child.
Posted by a parent on 10/23/2019I certainly hope this school is better than when I went there. It was the worst school I ever attended. The teachers could have cared less if their students were learning. Though I was not bullied, I saw bullying and prejudice all around me. No teacher tried to help. I am so glad that my parents moved so I could be in a different school district. I have a BFA, a MFA, and a Webmasters Certification. I am director of several documentary projects.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children have attended Fisher since they were in kindergarten (3rd and 4th graders now), and I've never had any problems with their teachers, however; the front desk staff has almost always been RUDE! You will hardly (if ever) get a smile from those ladies. It's clear in their expression and tone that they do not like their job. I've done teaching observations at other schools and not one has had their front administration be so unfriendly.Other Review7y ago - Gardens Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a big disappointment 2023-2024. If you want your children to attend a great school don't look here, this school is terrible!! The test scores are poor ,your needs will not be supported, communication is limited and admin don't care about the children. Might want to have a family lawyer if your children plan on attending this school because your definitely going to be taken for a ride!! Parents if you love your children and you want their future to be bright do not enroll them at this school.Parent Review2mo ago - Pomeroy Elementary School
