Posted by a parent on 1/6/2023There are so many great things happening at this school!!! Great teachers, staff, and adminstration! Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure that every student feels welcome and at home! Proud my kids are Falcons!
Posted by a parent on 3/23/2017My son has one class as special education and all the rest are AP classes.

Posted by a community member on 9/29/2013From the moment a person walks into Miller Intermediate, there is a sense of lack of professionalism. The office staff are not on time and there is a smell in the hallway and restrooms. The classes are overcrowded with many poor teachers. The administrators, including the Principal and AP are not helpful. Constant complaints from parents makes this school a hurdles for the community. Very few teachers are there to help and there is a constant use of profanity. Students do not adhere to "Miller Pride". Old books, furniture, poor food and unsanitary restrooms plague this school.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children have attended Fisher since they were in kindergarten (3rd and 4th graders now), and I've never had any problems with their teachers, however; the front desk staff has almost always been RUDE! You will hardly (if ever) get a smile from those ladies. It's clear in their expression and tone that they do not like their job. I've done teaching observations at other schools and not one has had their front administration be so unfriendly.Other Review7y ago - Jensen Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI GREW TO LOVE THE SCHOOL. AT FIRST WHEN MY CHILD ATTENDED IN PRE K, I GOT A PHONE CALL EVERYDAY OR EVERY OTHER DAY. KINDER WAS A WHOLE LOT BETTER. THE DUFFEREBCE WAS MY CHILD SEEN THE DIFFERENCE HIS TEACHER MADE WITHIN THE CLASS ND ACTED OUT. HE FELT AS IF THE TEACHER DIDNT LIKE HIM. I AS A PARENT WAS NOT NOTIFIED WHEN THE CLASS/SCHOOL WOULD DO SOMETHING SPECIAL AND HE WOULD BE ONE OF THE FEW STUDENTS THAT WOULDNT PARTICIPATE, SO HE FELT LEFT OUT. ONCE I GOT THE HINT OF WHAT WAS GOING ON, SCHOOL WAS ALMOST OUT. 1ST GRADE MY BABY DID ABOVE AND BEYOND. HE PARTICIPATED IN ALMOST EVERYTHING AND I HAD MAYBE 2 TO 3 PHONE CALLS THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE YEAR. PLUS HE GOT STUDEBT OF THE MONTH LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR. SO, IT IS SHOWING HIS PRE-K TEACHER DID NOT LIKE MY BABY!!!!! IM COOL WIT IT THO CAUSE GOD GOT US!!!!! IT WAS THE TEACHER NOT THE SCHOOL. I LOVE JENSEN!!! LETS SEE HOW 2ND GRADE GO!!!!!! I ALSO CAME TO THE CONCLUSION, THAT IF WE PARTICIPATE AS PARENTS, YOUR CHILD WILL BE MORE HAPPY WITHIN THEIR SOULS, AT LEAST MINE IS. EVEN THOUGH MY BABY ISNT PERFECT, AND IT WAS A FEW INSTANCES WITH HIM AND OTHER STUDENTS, HE STILL MAINTAINED A GREAAAT ATTITUDE AND POSITIVE MINDSET!!!THE SCHOOL ITSELF, CONSTANTLY HAVE ACTVITIES INCLUDING PARENTS AS WELL. FOR INSTANCES FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCES, MOTHER/SON DANCE, WHICH WAS A FIRST, BUT ONCE ENOUGH MOTHERS STARTED TO BE VOCAL, THEY HEARD US AND MADE IT HAPPEN!!! I LOVE THIS!!!! THE DISCIPLINE AT THE SCHOOL I FEEL IS APPROPIATE FOR THE AGES OF OUR BABIES, IF IT'S NOT FAIR TO SOME PARENTS, THEN IT HAVE TO BE SOMETHING ELSE GOING ON CAUSE THEY TRY TO BE AS FAIF AS POSSIBLE, I BE WATCHING WHEN THEY THINK I DON'T!!!THEN THE PRE-K TEACHER FORCED MY CHILD TO DO HIS WORK WITH THE CRAYONS HE BROKE UP THAT I BOUGHT!!! I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THAT BECAUSE MY CHILD FINGERS WAS HURTING, AND IF I BOUGHT A MILLION OF THEM AND HE BROKE ALL BUT ONE, GIVE HIM THAT LAST ONE, YOU AIN'T BUY NOTHING, GIVE MY BABY HIS STUFF THAT HIS MAMA BOUGHT!!! OTHER THAN PRE-K HE'S MASTERING THIS THING CALLED ELEMENTARY!!!! THANKS JENSEN FOR THE PATIENCE AND CONCERNS WITH ALL OUR CHILDREN!!!!!!!Parent Review10mo ago - Pearl Hall Elementary School
