I have taught school for over 15 years. I have worked for schools ranging from 2A to 5A. Overton is the best district that I have ever worked for. The staff truly loves the kids and the teachers, support staff and principal are awesome.The kids are very respectful. Even the few that do cause trouble are not mean. Possible just a little hyper. As a teacher I don't mind hyper as I can be a little hyper myself. My wife and I are both educators and our own kids love overton as well. Overton offers free transfers to students outside of the district. If you live in the area, I highly recommend that you give us a chance to love and serve your kids.
