Posted by a parent on 1/24/2023The head of school is not helpful when there is a dispute or concern raised of any type. Many of the board members are of the same vein. This is not a place where thinking and growing is encouraged. You must fit the mold and should your child be different in anyway you will be asked to leave.

Posted by a parent on 5/8/2019We have been at St. John’s for 7 years and have been so pleased with not only what our children have learned but also the people they are becoming. The teachers would do anything to help my kids and are open to communicating through any issues that may come up!

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has had the WORST school year! It is nearing the end of the year, which I am glad for, but that doesn't make us forget the nightmare of a school. My daughter is only in 3rd grade but received multiple DEATH THREATS from other students! She said one boy even took scissors and threatened her right in front of the teacher! But guess what, nobody cared. They took it as a joke. As a single mom, it's hard to keep in contact with the school but it's harder when they don't tell you anything! I have been so uninformed over the year it's not even funny! They wouldn't call for parent nights or anything of the such. Please, do NOT put your child here. The staff all take the time to truly get to know all the students. It is a wonderful, fun, peaceful learning environment for the kids. The learn so many real life skills on top of academics. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers are so involved in my kid education. Everybody is nice and kind. Students have two teachers working together in two languages. They received French classes as well. I wish I could have more time to volunteer at school like many other parents do.
