This school needs to be close down. The reviews are 100 true. This school has poor leadership and the teachers aren’t transparent at all. I asked for a parent teacher meeting and everybody was nonchalant about it. Mrs. Bates is never there or she ignores emails. This school is a mess. I’ll be Happy when we moved. We obviously moved here because it was a B-C school at the time and it dropped to a F in less than 3 years. This school is badddd!! I wouldn’t send an ant here to learn ! Nobody can tell me the 90% teachers aren’t here to wipe away their student loans !!!! I never know what’s going on with my child or learning. The teachers don’t care to talk to you because that’s the way Mrs. Bates has them feeling. She needs to be fired and there needs to be better leadership. Why is this school a F school when our Morgage prices don’t say F!?? Denton isd is trash as well. Move to prosper or Frisco if you can.

I don't even know where to begin with this school! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT send your child here if you have other choices. I among several other parents have left this school, and I know more than plan to leave or not return next year. This school should be shut down! They only care about numbers, not your children, not their teaching, their only concern in their numbers. They will tell you what you want to hear and let things go on that should not so that parents do not want to withdraw. We chose this school without looking close enough and we regret it to this day.

Oak Point Elementary Is The Best Elementary I Ever Went To In My Life And I Wish I stayed There Longer Beacuse I Stayed There From March To May 2025 And Im A Middle Schooler Now Oak Point Is A great School To teach And Learn

**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ**I am extremely disappointed with Cross Oak Elementary School. My child attended this school since our neighborhood was first developed, but her last year there was a nightmare due to relentless bullying. She was physically and verbally assaulted repeatedly, yet the administration failed to take appropriate action.Despite my repeated efforts to address the issue, I was met with resistance and inaction. The administration handled the situation terribly, showing a complete lack of concern for my child's well-being. Not once did I receive a phone call, email, or message from the principal to acknowledge or ease my concerns. Instead, they denied the incidents ever took place—if I hadn’t kept records, they would have continued to brush everything under the rug.The principal and vice principal demonstrated unprofessionalism and an alarming disregard for student safety. Denton ISD claims to have an anti-bullying policy, yet my experience showed otherwise. In the end, I was left with no choice but to remove my daughter from the school for her own safety, fearing the situation would escalate further.I sincerely hope that no other family has to endure what we went through. Cross Oak Elementary and Denton ISD need to take bullying seriously and ensure a safe environment for all students.
