If I could give this school a negative rating, I absolutely would. We live only half a mile away. they transferred my son to Comal Creek ( which away from us 7 miles) because he’s in special education and this school doesn’t provide the services he needs. Instead of supporting students with special needs, they focus only on keeping STAAR test scores high by separating struggling students from the rest. It feels like they put no effort into helping children who truly need support. They provide an environment with Discrimination

This school is fantastic! The fact that every staff member is involved with the children on a daily basis is a priceless attribute! This school may not have an elaborate co-curr program but that isn't an issue within the school, this is a school district financial issue. The music teacher here truly cares about the kids and the gym coach has the best sense of humor and makes P.E. fun! The staff involvement is worth so much more than money, and your child will only benefit from it. This school has some of the best teachers in the world! Try finding another school that has an entire staff dedicated to making sure each child has what they need to not only learn but be safe and have so much fun while doing it! Not to mention that their Advanced Reading Program is amazing too! We love this school!

The staff allowed my ex to enroll my children in this school with zero documentation of his custody. I called and explained that he was not the primary parent; he did not have their birth certificates, and I sent them a copy of the custody documents and they still stonewalled me. When I started working with my girls to continue their education with this school online, I was informed that they were being removed from the school after only two weeks of online school. I was informed of this the first day after the massive snow storm when the school had several snow days. During this time, my youngest had completely caught up on her school work. I did not know however that my eldest was behind on her math and the teacher told me nothing until it was too late. In my opinion, the school leadership knew that it was a legal liability for them to have enrolled my daughters with zero documentation; with the non-primary parent; opening themselves up for a lawsuit and they were covering their tracks by kicking out a six year old who was completely caught up on her work and a ten year old who was missing some math assignments.

I would highly encourage any parent to avoid this school at all costs. It has been extreme bullying for my child all year and it has not been taken seriously. This school is overcrowded and unorganized and there is a big lack of teacher and parent involvement. This has been our worst experience with this school and the NBISD school district. If I had known what I know now I would have never bought a house in this area.

This school cannot get it right.They do not communicate about any issues. We have to hear it from our own kids. The issues are all sorts of issues as well from harassment to bullying to unclean classrooms.Last time there was an issue regarding harassment the administration doesn’t do anything but sugarcoat the offense and protect the offender.Teachers famously leave the kids unattended which will lead to something disastrous.Most people I guess are OK with the standards because we treat the schools as a daycare and not as a place that’s supposed to educate.I am not excited about the new Elementary if any of the old administration is going there.They have 1 principal and 2 vice principals. What is going on? So far the best teachers that our kids have had all quit in the middle of the year.There are some great individual educators. I suspect something is either going on in the district level or Voss Farms is hiding things.
